A brainchild of the Former Governor, His Excellency Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan, was established on the 15th of December 2013 by a Law of the Delta State House of Assembly cited as the Delta State Security Trust Fund Law 2013 as Amended.
In 2016, the Delta State Security Trust Fund Law was amended by the Administration of the former Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Sen. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, and became operational.
Hon. Samuel Osasa Esq was appointed the pioneer Executive Secretary of the Trust Fund by His Excellency, Dr. Sen. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa in 2016.
Later in 2021, Elder Emmanuel Ogidi was appointed as the Pioneer Chairman of the Delta State Security Trust Fund by His Excellency, Dr. Sen. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.
