As a Prelude to the Preparation for the Fund raising for the Delta State Security Trust Fund, the Delta State Governor, the Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has donated 31 Operational Vehicles to the Police and other Security Agencies in the State to Strengthen their operations.
Oborevwori while presenting the vehicles in Asaba, to the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, said the presentation was to enhance the joint security operations in the state, the Delta Hawk which has now been code named “Operation Delta Sweep”.
He said the donation was informed by the desire to maintain and continue to improve the security of the state as the state remains safe for investors and urged the security agencies to continue to work together.
